Preamble
The AKSU House Collection Engine exists to recognize, preserve, and reward collector identity.
Every collectible owned by a member contributes toward their Personal Collection, which serves as the foundation of the Collection Engine.
From a member’s Personal Collection, the institution discovers meaningful collecting patterns, recognizes Official Collections, awards institutional progression, and strengthens the marketplace, community, and broader Aksumite ecosystem.
The Collection Engine exists to reward dedication, specialization, discovery, and meaningful collecting behavior while reinforcing every phase of the institution.

- “Potential Collection”

- “Permanent Recognition”
- Titles, Badges, XP, featured status, completion records, and institutional milestones that do not expire.
- “Seasonal Recognition”

Collection Foundations
Personal Collection
One Personal Collection
Every member possesses one Personal Collection.
A Personal Collection consists of every collectible verified within the institution.

- (c)Remind Me Later
Purpose
Collection Discovery exists to naturally guide members toward meaningful collecting journeys.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 2.04 (1.0)Official Collections
Recognition
Official Collections are collections formally recognized by AKSU House.
Official Collections are not created because they are expensive or popular.
They are created because they represent meaningful collecting categories that the institution recognizes and the Collection Engine can objectively identify.
Official Collections become the primary progression system of AKSU House.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 3.01 (1.0)Guiding principle
If the institution recognizes it and the Collection Engine can objectively identify it, it may become an Official Collection.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 3.02 (1.0)Progression, Difficulty, and Recognition
Collection Progression
Concurrent contribution
One collectible may contribute toward any number of Official Collections simultaneously.
For example, Ancient Mew may contribute toward a Mew Collection, Black Star Promos, Wizards Promos, and Movie Promos.
One collectible may advance multiple Official Collections simultaneously.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 4.01 (1.0)Unique qualifying collectibles
Official Collection completion is determined exclusively through unique qualifying collectibles.
Duplicate ownership is preserved within the member’s Personal Collection.
Duplicates never increase Official Collection completion.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 4.02 (1.0)Collection Evolution
Evolving collections
Official Collections evolve alongside the hobby.
When qualifying collectibles are introduced into an existing Official Collection:
- (a)Previously earned Titles remain.
- (b)Previously earned Badges remain.
- (c)Previously earned XP remains.
- (d)Completion percentages update.
Illustrative effect
If a completed collection of 151 qualifying collectibles receives a new qualifying promotional card, its completion measure may update from 151 / 151 to 151 / 152.
The collection evolves.
The institution preserves prior recognition.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 5.02 (1.0)Collection Difficulty
Dynamic rating
Every Official Collection receives a dynamic difficulty rating.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 6.01 (1.0)Weighted variables
Difficulty is determined using three weighted variables.
- (a)Difficulty to Acquire — 50%
- (1)Marketplace Availability
- (2)Pull Rates

- (1)Completion Percentage
- (2)Historical Completion Rates
- (1)
- (c)Cost — 20%
- (1)Average Acquisition Cost

- (1)
Recalculation
Difficulty is recalculated periodically.
Difficulty is never permanent.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 6.03 (1.0)XP and Progression

Only Official Collections award XP.
Personal Collections never award XP.
Potential Collections begin awarding XP only after the member chooses to begin tracking them.
Citation: Collection Engine Constitution, § 7.01 (1.0)Character and type collections
